Amazing RV Campgrounds to Visit in Massachusetts

Does Massachusetts come to your mind when you think about RV camping? It might not, but it should. Massachusetts has immense beauty, history, landmarks, and culture. It’s no surprise then that the state also has fantastic RV campgrounds. For those that like following history, exploring culture, or enjoying the beauty of nature, a Massachusetts campground is a great option.

Boston Minuteman Campground

Here at ATVA, we appreciate history. Boston Minuteman Campground is located 30 miles northwest of Boston, where reminders of our nation’s history are around every corner. It’s possible to camp just outside of the city and visitors can spend a few days exploring Massachusetts’ largest city.

Boston Minuteman Campground

Boston Minuteman Campground has electric hookups, picnic tables, fire pits, and Wi-Fi service. It also has a camp store, recreation center, bocce, and free movie library. This family-friendly campground is only ten miles west of the Minute Man National Historical Park, and close to the state capital of Boston.

Cape Ann Camp Site

The Cape Ann Camp Site in Gloucester is a hidden gem. Guests have their choice of electric and water RV sites in either the regular area of their campground or in the upper wooded area of their campground. Visitors need to make a reservation because the sites fill up fast. Campers should ask for a big rig site if their RV is over 32 feet. This campground is also close to local beaches, a boating area, and deep-sea fishing boat rentals.

Circle CG Farm Campground

Campers should head over to Bellingham to meet some great people and get the real farm campground experience and country hospitality!

Circle CG Farm Campground

This is a perfect getaway for a family that likes to have fun. Some of the activities offered are swimming in pools, fishing, playing bingo, shuffleboard, and bocce. Guests can meet  a small farm animal face-to-face at the petting zoo or go to the safari field to meet some very interesting creatures.

Campers will want to remember that they have storage of RVs, as well as weekly and monthly rates in case they want to return. This top-rated Good Sam Club Park is only a short driving distance from the Franklin State Forest and Old Sturbridge Village, the largest outdoor museum in the Northeast.

My Verdict

Massachusetts offers something for everyone, from back-to-basics natural campsites to fancy luxury resort camping. Well, what can you expect from the state that gave you Dr. Seuss and Plymouth Rock? There are so many things to explore in Massachusetts. It’s nice that travelers can do so in the comfort of their RVs.
