They also have free wireless internet, hot showers, and many friendly faces. ewer, water, and electricity are available together with laundry facilities There’s an excellent area with fun games such as horseshoes and soccer. The site is very hospitable with clean facilities and beautiful landscaping.Timberline Campground
It’s situated on the outskirts of Waukee. This venue is ideal for you if you want a bit of nature and to be close to the city. They’ve got lots of motorhome options with whatever hookup you may need. Timberline prides itself on having well-maintained restrooms, which you’ll find in good condition at any given time. There’s a wide range of facilities, from groceries to all your much-needed RV supplies. Your kids won’t need to look for entertainment as their swimming pool, basketball court, and recreation hall with fun indoor games will keep them busy for hours.Adventure Resort Campground
It’s located near Altoona, Iowa. One of the well-known attractions in the state is the Adventureland theme park adjacent to this campground. So there’s no need to go far for a theme park experience. A full hookup is also available at this campground, together with RV facilities and recreational facilities. Your pets are welcome, too. Other outdoor activities include hiking, fishing, and biking. This park is situated in Scott County. It has the Mississippi River to the east and south of this county. The park itself has four lakes for either fishing or swimming. Paddleboats are also available to rent for those who enjoy the water. In the park, there are two campgrounds; Park Terrace and Summit. They both have hosts who’ll assist you on arrival, and both have full hookups available. They don’t take any reservations and operate on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. I was very pleased with the facilities and found it to be spacious and well maintained.Tailwater West Campground
This wooded campground is situated north of Iowa City. It’s full of flora and fauna and is part of a wildlife management program. The location at the Coralville Lake Project makes fishing, swimming, and boating ideal. There’s mountain biking, hiking, and much more. This beautiful place is perfect for those who love watching wild animals. You’ll be able to see them in their natural habitat.
