Tri City dirt track round set for July 4

Round 4 of the 2008 Duro Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals at the Tri City Speedway in Franklin, Pennsylvania, is scheduled for a Thursday practice and Friday race.

Rain has been an issue for the past two years, and the track is not available on Sunday, July 6, so promoter Rich Hetrick has adopted this schedule to provide the best racing experience possible.

To celebrate the 4th, Hetrick has booked shuttle busses to transport racers and families to the nearby Oil City fireworks display.

Schedule
Wednesday, July 2: Gates open at Noon
Thursday, July 3: Practice at 5:00 p.m.
Friday, July 4: Practice at 8:00 a.m., qualifying and main events immediately follow.
